TEAM PAUL OR CODYKO?

As I usually am engaged with celebrity drama and "tea", I was very intrigued when I heard about the recent overdrawn drama between the two famous Youtubers: Jake Paul and CodyKo. First, let's get into what really went down in the media. CodyKo is known for his comedic content on the internet and including his podcasts. He includes a segment on his channel called "That's Cringe" that takes people or trends, and comments on them to create his content to his youth viewers. Doing another one of these segments about 2 months ago, Cody films and uploads a video called "That's Cringe: Jake Paul." In this video, the so-called "Youth Influencer" Jake is roasted for his past actions and content included on his channel. It was all innocent fun and games- but not in Paul's perspective. About a month after this video by CodyKo was uploaded, Jake films his own response video, claiming that he was a "cyberbully."In this video, Jake surprises CodyKo and confronts him at his local barbershop about his behavior. When doing so, Paul calls his "offender" out for bullying kids (including himself), and bringing negativity to the world. After the fact, Cody responds with his own reaction video. He claims to have innocent fun and in no way means to bully anyone-as there is no perpetual proof that he is doing so or his channel would be removed.
Overall, this YouTube drama I believe was exaggerated heavily-all for the media. I do not think it was staged, but simple it was completely unnecessary. But in order for these YouTube "influencers" to make their daily paycheck, they need views. I think that Paul was aiming to not only gain subscribers through this drama but get loads of views and commentary for his content. This is just another example of how media revolved around a consumer's voice. The youth will most indefinitely do anything to hop on board drama- and take it to another level. This CodyKo vs Jake Paul situation is just another victim of media's impact it has on peoples lives. So, are you Team Cody or Team Paul?
